🤖 Which AI is used and where is it saved?
We use the official open-source @imgly AI model. For your security, the ~15MB model is downloaded directly into your web browser's cache. No software is installed on your device.
🔒 Are my images safe?
100% safe and private. We never send your photos to the internet or external servers. All processing is done locally within your browser window.
🎨 Why only PNG and WebP?
When we remove the background, that part becomes transparent. The standard JPG format does not support transparency and would paint the background black or white. That is why we use PNG or WebP.
